Facts about Illegal Dumping & Littering

What is "illegal dumping"?

Illegal dumping is the term used to describe the disposal of waste in unauthorized areas. .

What are the effects?

Illegal dump sites are not just hard on the eyes, they can be hard on the environment and the economy and our health. These sites can:

  • be a breeding ground for insects, rodents, and other pests
  • contaminate surface and ground water
  • pose as a fire risk and disrupt wild life habitats.
  • decrease property values

What can be done?

  • Educate the community on its effects. If people are more aware of the impact it has, they will be less likely to dump illegally.

God created this world and made it beautiful. Lets work together to keep it that way. Please help us by supporting our cause!
